• A Registered Clinical Counsellor in the province of British Columbia and a full member, College of Psychologists, province of Alberta who holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hon.) from the University of Winnipeg (1969-1973) and a Masters of Applied Science from the University of Waterloo (1974-1976).
• A Therapist with private practices in Vancouver, B.C. and South Surrey, B.C. working intensively with individuals, couples and families

• A Radio Talk Show Host who designed and hosted a weekly call in show called Love Matters on CFUN 1410 AM Vancouver (1997- 1999) and another program called Ninety Minutes With Psychologist Joel Brass on CJOC (Lethbridge) (1986 – 1989). He has been a regular guest on 97-KISS-FM’s Vancouver At Noon and Today In Vancouver (1990-1993) and a Regular Substitute Host on CHQM- FM’s Life Matters. Innumerable other radio appearances.
• An Award Winning Television Personality with his own award winning television production The Inside Story appearing on CATV Channel 12 (Lethbridge) WINNER OF PROGRAM OF THE YEAR (1988-1989). Additionally, he has appeared on television interview shows on CFAC (Lethbridge), CFCN (Lethbridge), CHAT (Medicine Hat), CKRD (Red Derr), CITV (Edmonton), CHEK-TV (Victoria), Rogers Cable 10 (Victoria).
• An Educator who lectures adult continuing education courses in university and community college settings.
• A Writer who is nearing completion of a book entitled When Egos Fall (to be submitted for publication Sept., 2003). Also he has written three self-published books: Information For Living: Books I, II, and III . He also has three audio tapes for sale: Handling The Stress Of Your Life, Relationships: The Work of Love and Calls For Help.
